5月2-3日は大阪中崎町にございます「ichimaruni」様にてPOP-UPを開催いたします。

CURAN VINTAGE will be hosting “CURAN SW EXPO,” a special event featuring vintage Star Wars items, both offline and online, from May 2 to May 4, 2026.

■ POP-UP (Offline)

On May 2–3, we will hold a POP-UP event at
“ichimaruni” in Nakazakicho, Osaka.

At this location, only T-shirts will be available for early release.
No other items will be sold at the POP-UP.

■ About T-shirts

This collection mainly features items from the 1990s,
ranging from original pieces from the 1977 release of A New Hope to items from around the 2010s.

With over 100 different designs, this lineup is truly museum-level.
It is extremely rare to see such a collection gathered in one place, not only in Japan but worldwide.

We have also released a YouTube video discussing the “rarity” of Star Wars T-shirts,
presented with as much factual reference material as possible.
We highly recommend giving it a watch.

■ About Lobby Cards

Lobby cards are promotional materials distributed by film companies to theaters and displayed in cinema lobbies — which is where the name comes from.

They were created to showcase cast members, scenes, and parts of the story, and were widely used from the 1940s through the 2000s.
Their sizes and designs vary depending on the country, ranging from small prints to larger formats around 30 cm.

Today, with the shift to digital promotion, these items are rarely produced, making them highly collectible worldwide.

Among all films, Star Wars is one of the most sought-after series in lobby card collecting.

For this event, we present a curated selection covering both the Original Trilogy and Prequel Trilogy, featuring lobby cards from multiple countries including the US, UK, France, and Thailand.

By comparing designs from different countries, you can discover details and perspectives that cannot be seen from a single piece alone.

All lobby cards will be delivered framed, ready for display.
The frame also serves as protective storage to prevent damage.

■ About Positive Film

Positive film (slide film) is a non-commercial promotional material that was distributed to the press as part of press kits by film companies.

Journalists at the time used these materials to write articles, incorporating the images into publications.
Even today, they can still be developed — making them a form of “living archive.”

However, due to limited ways of displaying or using them, they were typically stored in simple sleeves.

At CURAN, we have developed a custom case specifically for positive film.

• Can be used as a keychain
• Can be displayed as interior decor
• UV-protected acrylic front (for preservation)
• Frosted acrylic back to softly diffuse light

When held up to light, the image becomes even more vivid and beautiful.

All positive films are sold with this custom case included.
